Little Paradise Artists supporting The Deslondes..

Friday 17th June will see not one but two Little Paradise artists sharing a bill with New Orleans' very own The Deslondes at The Moon Club in Cardiff.

The Deslondes (formerly Tumbleweeds) are a New Orleans-based country-soul band. In their writing and performing, they combine elements of early Stax, Sun and Atlantic records with the influence of a more raw, stripped-down sound gleaned off field recordings from Alan Lomax and Mississippi Records catalogue.

Also playing on the night are Screamin' Miss Jackson & the Slap Ya Mama Big Band and Cardiff locals Featherjaw (whose debut album will be out on LPR later in the year).

For the uninitiated, Featherjaw describe themselves as 'A 4 piece band from Cardiff, literally born in a barn. We play country, blues & folk inspired music, all wrapped up in rock n roll!'
